The plot is situated in a main cross-road accessing Leganés: an avenue and a pedestrian-playful boulevard to access the city center, where sports facilities are located. |
The building emerges as a large information panel, an active advertising display tribute to the old "drive in" cinemas, where Leganés sports and cultural activities will be advertised. |
Building´s situation (in the plot) preserves the existing garden and its trees, while a well-facing longitudinal façade optimizes energy sources and natural lighting inside the building. |
Our design looks for a rational development and an economic investment program (540sqm basement floor, four level building floors 420sqm each and an covered attic available for facilities and future building extensions). |
Roof deck design is based on a optimum inclination plane to integrate the 192 solar panels needed for building swimming pools energy supplies, both thermal (107.000Kcal/h) as photovoltaic (12Kw-18.000Kwh year), as a self-sufficient building based on environmental commitment. |
